Welcome to this on-line version of "The Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Library". The goal of this library is to provide on-line access to the life and teaching of His Holiness, our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), as well as to the life and teaching of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Us).

The Children's Section includes material provided by the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), about their personal experiences living at the feet of His Holiness, and about their understanding of the life and teaching of His Holiness, in partnership with His Holiness.

The Father's Section includes an on-line copy of some of the material that has been developed around the life and teaching of His Holiness, such as books, as well as transcripts of audio and video tapes, recorded as His Holiness spontaneously spoke words of wisdom to His Children.
The New Library Navigation Tree - a new bottom-up Library Home Page
Recently we have started to improve access to the different parts of the library, by giving each section of the library, and each item in the library, its own URL or web address, so it can be accessed in two different ways.
First, hierarchically through this Home Page, with is the traditional top-down approach, through the Father's Library, and the Children's Library, but now also directly through individual URLs or web page addresses, which is more of a bottom-up approach.
For example, you can now directly access the Father's Library, the Children's Library, and some of the major Sections or Topics in each Library, as well as some of the items in them, separately, using its own URL or web address.
Also, some of the individual Items in each of these Topics can now be accessed directly, using their own URL or web address, like the following Items:
Chapter 1, "Signs of Spiritual Significance (the four types of wives), from the book, "The Pearl of Wisdom", by His Holiness, M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him).

To provide improved visibility to all these new URLs, and to the overall content of the Library, we have created an Alternate Library Home Page, which in a way is a
Bottom-Up Home Page for the Library, as contrasted with this Top-Down Home Page for the Library, which we have called the Library Navigation Tree, which provides another way, and in certain cases, an improve way, of accessing the items in the Library, especially for those items with their own URL.
The next section provides a comprehensive index of all of the separate URLs or web addresses that are currently available within The Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Library.
About The Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship
Upon coming to America in 1971, His Holiness called the students that collected around Him "His Children", and told us to formally establish a community called the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship, which we did, which now has branches in many parts of America, as well as in Canada, England, and other parts of the world, including in Sri Lanka, a small island off the tip of India, formally called Ceylon, where His Holiness lived for many, many years before coming to America.
The main branch of the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship in America is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., at 5820 Overbrook Avenue.
At this main branch of the "Fellowship", as the children affectionately call it, there is a vast library of material (e.g., books, audio and video tapes, articles, pamphlets, paintings), all of which have naturally collected around the life and teaching of His Holiness, our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him).
The True Gift of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) And of His Children
However, we must always keep in mind that the true life and teaching of His Holiness is not outside of us, but is really within each of us, is really the expanded consciousness and open heart within each of us, and that the things that have collected outside of us, around the life and teaching of His Holiness, like religious practices and scriptures, like religious groups, buildings, and books, and other similar things, are merely fingers pointing to something of God deep inside each of us, to the living presence of God within each of us.
These outer manifestations of the life and teaching of His Holiness are merely fingers pointing to something else, to the inner manifestations of the life and teaching of His Holiness, to the 124,000 prophets of God within each of us, including Muhammad
(Sal.), Jesus (A.S.), David (A.S.), Moses (A.S.), Ishmeal (A.S.), Abraham (A.S.),
Noah (A.S.), and Adam (A.S.), to the seven levels of wisdom or consciousness within each of us, including the divine analytic wisdom of Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and the divine luminous wisdom of the Nur Muhammad within us, and to the living Qur'an, the living Bible, and living Torah, to the living version of all of the Holy Scriptures of all of the religions in the world, all within each of us.
In this way, the true gift of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen is God, is God happening within True Man within us, not what Bawa can do for us, or what Bawa can give us, and our realizing, understanding, accepting, and joining with this gift of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, this gift of God happening within us, allows this gift to occur within us, allows God to be revealed within True Man within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God in the 18,000 universes within us.
As the true gift of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen is True Man, is True Man happening within God within us, which is the oneness of God and the Creation of God within us, not the dream of living as one with those who have been born separate from us, and now live "outside" of us, as "separate from" us in every way, each with their own life, home, family, race, and religion, like each of the brothers and sisters that we have met and learned to love at the Fellowship.
And our realizing, understanding, accepting, and joining with this true gift of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Us) within us, this gift of True Man happening within us, allows this gift to occur within us, allows True Man to be revealed within God within us, within the Creation of God in the 18,000 universes within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God in the 18,000 universes within us.
But for this reality of us to happen within us before we die, for this truth of the Children of God within us to happen in our own life time, for this truth of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Us) within us, this truth of True Man happening within us, this truth of living as "one with" God within us to truly happen within us, we must learn to join with God within us, to join wth our Shaikh within us and with God within Him, to first put down the dream within us, the dream of us living as "separate from" God, as "separate from" each other, and as "separate from" the Creation of God within us. And we must do all of this before we die.
And as such, God, Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Us) are within us, are in truth one within us, are in truth the gift of the One becoming the Three within us, and the gift of the Three becoming the One within us, three times, in awwal, dunya, and akhirah, in the world of souls, in this world, and in the next world, which are all in truth within us. This is the Sound of God withiin us.
For as His Holiness teaches us,
"The Sound of God is the One becoming the Three and the Three becoming
the One, the One becoming the Three and the Three becoming the One, the
One becoming the Three and the Three becoming the One."
And if we realize, understand, accept, and join with this gift within us, allowing this gift of the Triple Flame of God to be revealed within us, allowing the Triple Flame of God - Ya Allah, Ya Rasul, Ya Muhaiyaddeen - to become clear within us, we will become truly victorious in our life, causing the Three Reflections of God within us, which are the Disciple, the Shaikh and God within us, to come to maturity within us, first as the Nur Muhammad within us, which is the Seed of Iman, the Seed of True Man within us, and then as Allah Muhammad, which is the Seed of Islam, the Seed of Allah within us.
And this will all naturallly happen within us, within the heart of our Shaikh within us, like an apple seed naturally germinating within the earth, revealing in this way the apple tree hidden within it and the sweet apple taste hidden thin the ripe apple fruit hidden within the apple tree within it, and mysteriously again the apple seed, when we realize, understand, accept, and join with the truth of us that naturally emerges from within us, revealing True Man within us and the sweet taste of God hidden within True Man within us, and again "The Seed", when as His Holiness teaches us in the book, "A Mystical Journey", on page 31,
"The Alif becomes the pillar of the sukun of the Meem."
Then as His Holiness teaches us in the "Kalimah Song" (4/26/72),
"In a state of expansion, Alif, Lam, Meem, and the Triple Flame that has
become clear, become the Ruh, the Wisdom, and the Nur, in a most
mysterious form of Grace".
"That form of Grace becoming Wisdom, Wisdom becoming the Nur, and the
Nur will become God".
Only then will True Prayer occur within us, the prayer of the One to the One who is, which is the state of Man-God/God-Man within us, the Oneness of True Man and God within us, and of God and True Man within us, the state of Allahu Ill Allahu within God within us.
And for each of us to do this, my dearest loving brothers and sisters, to realize this gift within us, we must join with God within us by joining with His Holiness within us, we must join with the life and teaching of God for this age, the life and teaching of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), to become the true Children of God for this age, to become the Children of God's grace for this age, to become the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Us).
My dearest loving brothers and sisters, this is what we must do, this is what each of us must do, to allow this to happen within us, to allow the Triple Flame of God to be revealed and become clear within us, causing the Alif, Lam, and Meem within us, which is God, the Shaikh, and the Disciple within us, to expand and become One within us, allowing the Three to become One within us, allowing True Prayer to occur within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God in the 18,000 universes within us.
This is the true gift of God, of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen, and of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Them) within us, which is each of us becoming the Children of God for this age, the Children of God's Grace for this age, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God in the 18,000 universes within us, for this age of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), this age of the Rahim of God, this age of the Rahim of Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim, this age of the Rahim of Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), when God pulls everything back into Himself, from which everything has come, when God having finished breathing out, again breaths in.
My dearest loving brother and sisters, this is the purpose of our life, of all life, not anything else, not anything less than this. Al-hamdu lillah - all praise and praising belong to God and to God alone, Allah Akbar - only God is great.
May we all spend some time reflecting on these beautiful words of wisdom. It is very, very important. And this on-line version of "The Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Library" has been created to help us in that effort. Please take advantage of it. For a His Holiness teaches us,
In the end, all that is left is God and what has separated from God, and what
separates from God in the end is what up to the very end repeatedly says to God,
"I am separate from God".
No matter what God shows them to the contrary, no matter how much, and in
how many beautiful ways, God shows them that in truth,
"There is nothing other than God".

Brief Summary of Each Topic In BMF Web Page:
1. Home Page - Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship Web Site
The Home Page for the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship Web Site includes a beautiful and mystical symbol of the Path of Truth and Enlightenment, which we all call "The Light Box", brought into the world at this time, in our age, by our beloved Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him).
For this child, for Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler), this "Light Box" represents the true "Star Gate" that we must all pass through before we die, in order to be truly successful in our life, and beautifully summarizes the conditions that we must each meet within ourselves, again before we die, in order to leave this ABCD world as we came into it, as the soul, as the ray of light that came into the light of wisdom, into the Nur Muhammad, that God both lovingly and patiently placed on the forehead of Adam (peace be upon Him) within us, even before we were born.
So as the Children of God's grace, we may leave here before we die, having learned what we came here to learn, which is who we "Already are", to leave this earth world, this "School of Contrasts", which is what His Holiness calls the earth world that we are currently experiencing, and enter the next world, the hereafter, or akhirah, which we can only do if we do it before we die.
All of which is beautifully summarized for us by His Holiness in the beautiful song that Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) sang for us, sang for His Children (may Go one pleased with each of Us), on April 26, 1972, on the "One good day in a 100 years", the song called "The Kalimah Song", in which His Holiness teaches us,
"In a state of expansion, alif, lam, mim, and the triple flame (Ya Allah, Ya Rasaul,
Ya Muhaiyaddeen) that has become clear, become the Ruh (the soul), the
Wisdom, and the Nur, in a most mysterious form of grace."
"That form of grace becoming Wisdom, Wisdom becoming the Nur, and the Nur
will become God."

3. Fellowship
A description of the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship established by His Holiness when He came to America from Sri Lanka (formally Ceylon) in 1971.
4. Mosque
A description of the Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Mosque, or the "House of God", as His Holiness referred to, in which people of all religions are welcome, was established in 1984 by His Holiness. Also included is a calendar of scheduled events at the Mosque.
5. Mazar
A description of the place of burial of His Holiness, our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). His Holiness died on December 8, 1986 and is buried in a suburb of Philadelphia in America. A Mazar or Shrine has been built over the grave of His Holiness by His Children, out of loving respect for His Holiness.
